Arne Slot says there is much more to come from Harvey Elliott after his starring role helped Liverpool beat Arsenal 2-1 in Philadelphia
Elliott has been deployed in an attacking midfield role under Slot and the 21-year-old shone in the first half against the Gunners
Elliott layed on two eye-catching assists for Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho.
With Slot looking like he is shifting towards a system that accommodates a ‘No.10’ Elliott could be set for a fresh role
Slot was pleased with the England U21 star’s outing at Lincoln Financial Field but believes the youngster can still deliver more.

Two great assists but what I believe is that the team created this for him as well,”
“Playing out from the back, getting him in the right positions or another No.10 and then it is up to him to bring the most out of those situations and he did that today with two assists.
“If I am a bit hard on him, I think there are maybe two other situations where he could have done better but that is what the team is doing for him and the other [10s].
“We make sure the team is helping the players like him, and Mo and Fabio get into the right positions and they can show their quality. Harvey did that today with two assists."
Slot added: "I would have preferred to have kept the same style as the first half and while the youngsters did well we had to change a lot of players who have played a lot of minutes for us.
“A lot of youngsters did really well defensively but we couldn't keep pressing them as high as we did the first half.
“That worked both sides for Arsenal, they positioned themselves differently and our youngsters did well but we had to change a lot of players who are starters for us.”
