Wataru Endo admits he can "play much more better" after a difficult full Liverpool debut - but believes the Reds' remarkable comeback at Newcastle underlines the mentality of Jurgen Klopp's side.
The 30-year-old Japan international, who made his first Liverpool appearance from the bench in the 3-1 victory at home to Bournemouth the previous weekend, was replaced shortly before the hour after struggling to keep pace
Endo
"It was a very tough game for me. I just tried to do my best, we didn't concede after going to 10 men. That was my job."
"Of course I can be better but in the second half it was very tough. Defensively I feel I can be better."
Endo has now played all bar 28 minutes of his brief Liverpool career in a team with only 10 men
Endo added
"Hopefully I don't get used to that!"
"Hopefully next time we can play much more better and I can play much more better. I'm just trying to get ready for next week now."
Endo believes the Reds' resilience to stay in the game gave them the platform for a memorable win.
"That's Liverpool,"
"Even with 10 men we still had a chance to win that game. We have very strong offensive players. I just try to help them defensively
"It is an amazing feeling actually in a very difficult game having to play so long for 10 men. I'm very happy to win this game."
