Here's what cooper had to say in this afternoon's press conference ahead of the trip to Anfield...
On the final seven games...
"Out of the teams we’ve got left to play, we’ve had a positive result when we’ve played them previously, except Arsenal.
"That’s not saying that will happen again, but it’s saying we can get good results in the league.
"Playing Liverpool at Anfield is different and we know everything that comes with that, but the moment we stop believing we can win games that’s when it becomes really difficult.
"It's a big challenge, but a great challenge as well and one we’re really tackling."
On the Liverpool win earlier this season...
"The win earlier this season was a really good example of giving everything on the pitch.
"Liverpool are a brilliant team, they showed it at Leeds and have done on many occasions this year. They have brilliant players and a brilliant manager and it’s going to take everything to get a positive result, but we've got to believe.
"We don’t compare the two games as it's two different teams at different stages of the season, but we know if we get it right we can have good days.
"We’re in control of that and we’re always in control of our performances. That’s where we’ve got to stay focused and do our very best to turn things around.
"We’re on a poor run and could have done certain things better but we’ve got to look forward and look to improve."
On Hillsborough tributes...
"The Club are planning to rightly lay a wreath at Anfield on matchday before the game.
"We will always respect that as a Club and do right by what will always be seen as a horrible situation.
"It goes without saying that nothing was good about that day and hopefully everybody in every stadium will respect that."
