David Moyes has hailed the Anfield atmosphere following Liverpool's recent impressive home performances.
Tuesday night saw Liverpool return to action in the Champions League, recording an emphatic 4-0 win over Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Xabi Alonso's side managed to go in at half-time with the scoreline sitting at 0-0, only to go on to concede four goals in the second half.
It was the second consecutive game Liverpool managed to win in the second half, with the Reds having produced a 2-1 comeback last weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion
During that game, Arne Slot's side scored two goals in quick succession, turning the game around in a four minute two goal blitz - a result which sent them back to the top of the Premier League.
So far under Slot, who replaced Jurgen Klopp earlier this year, Liverpool has won 14 of their 16 games this term
Moyes, who managed Liverpool's two biggest rivals, hailed the Anfield atmosphere, calling it "incredible".
Moyes said:
"They’ve always been such a good team under Jurgen, and so difficult to get a result at Anfield. But I think Arne Slot’s started great.
“And I have to say, when he came in I thought, very difficult to follow Jurgen, it’s a bit like following Sir Alex, a bit like following some of the top managers who have been there for so long. Never ever easy”
"But I have to say he’s done a great job, albeit it’s just about the same group of players as what they had last year.
“But they have showed a bit of resilience yesterday coming back, because Brighton have impressed me as well through the season and started really steadily, played really good stuff.
"But you’ll know what it’s like, going to play at Anfield is incredible. Once you get one goal the crowd are pulling the ball into the net, they really are, it’s some atmosphere there."
