Declan Rice has admitted there is a sense of "chaos" when taking part in matches against Liverpool.
The Reds have gone head-to-head with the Gunners a total of three times this term, winning once, drawing and losing.
Klopp's side got the better of Arsenal in the FA Cup third-round tie at Emirates Stadium in January
Both sides have been involved in a title battle with Manchester City over the last few months, though this is now a challenge Arsenal will be carrying on with solo
Reflecting on some of key matches that have brought Mikel Arteta's men to this position, Rice identified the 1-1 draw between the teams at Anfield in December as one of his favourite matches
Rice
“The way they play, the football they play, it’s like a chaos game that they create. Balls in behind from Trent Alexander-Arnold constantly, picking up the second balls, re-delivering, second phase, third phase, fourth phase — they’re just relentless at it.
“And at Anfield, especially the Kop end, goals get sucked in. But that game I absolutely loved
A key moment arrived in the 72nd minute of this match when Liverpool sparked a five-on-two counter-attack, leaving Rice stranded at the back with Mohamed Salah bearing down on goal.
There was little Rice could do at this stage to prevent a goal, Rice was able to watch on with relief as Trent sent an effort crashing onto the crossbar
Rice added
“Oh, mate. It was crazy. Nuts! When I’m backing off, I’m literally thinking, ‘Oh no!’ I know [William] Saliba is on my right,"
“I’m thinking there’s a good chance he [Salah] doesn’t even want to pass and he’s going to go on his own. So I’m just waiting for him to come one-versus-one against me.
“But, watching it back… look, I took a step and stopped. I wish I’d gone earlier because I would have blocked the shot.
“One hundred per cent. You’ve just got to delay for as long as possible. That was my main thing: delay.”
