Gary Lineker has heaped praise on Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold after the 2-1 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.
Lineker labelled the 24-year-old as the "best passer in England" after he continued to excel in his inverted full-back role in Jurgen Klopp's side.
Alexander-Arnold assisted Liverpool's equaliser, brilliantly scored by Cody Gakpo, equalised
Lineker:
“He’s the best passer in English football. He’s gradually drifted in the position he was born to play and that he played for most of his childhood.”
The victory over West Ham took Liverpool's winning streak to three games as they moved up to sixth
Trent has now recorded five assists since being deployed in his new role and he looks rejuvenated after being subject to criticism at times this season.
