Gary Neville has major Man Utd 'worry' ahead of Liverpool clash at Old Trafford

Gary Neville said he will be worried for Erik ten Hag's future at Manchester United if Liverpoolwas to inflict a heavy defeat

Liverpool travels to Manchester off the back of successive Premier League wins to begin their season, away to Ipswich and at home to Brentford.

The Reds are yet to concede a goal this season, while United is going into the game looking to bounce back from defeat away to Brighton last time out.

Liverpool failed to beat United in three attempts last season, drawing both Premier League games and losing a dramatic FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford.

Yet Slot's Reds travel up the M62 as the heavy favourites to maintain their 100 per cent record in the top flight

although Neville actually thinks United will come away from the game with a positive result, he is concerned about the fate which will await Ten Hag if the Dutchman watches his side lose heavily

Neville

“I think Erik ten Hag has a knack for just sort of finding the right result at the right time," Neville said to Sky Sports. "I worry about him a little bit on Sunday if [United] were to lose badly.

"But I don’t see that on Sunday, I don’t think it’ll be a big defeat for United on Sunday by any stretch of the imagination actually, I wouldn’t say I’m confident but they have a habit of turning up in the right moments for Erik ten Hag and getting results when he needs one."
