'He is that good' - Liverpool told they could win the Premier League with one midfield signing

Don Hutchison has told the club they have a chance at winning the Premier League - but only if they sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion

Jurgen Klopp's midfield is currently a little light in the defensive area

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones have both been filling in the deep-lying roles away from their regular positions

Both Romeo Lavia and Andre Trindade have been noted as potential signings

Hutchison made his current stance clear, and it didn't involve either midfielders. The 52-year-old, who now works as a pundit and co-commentator, believes Manchester City are "obvious" favourites to claim a fourth top-flight title in succession

Hutchison, who played for the Reds in the early 90s, believes his old club could pip City with the addition of Caicedo ahead of the campaign.

"As it stands (without any signings) Man City are my obvious favourites to win the Prem, but I stand by if Liverpool sign Caicedo (on top of what they have already got) they could win it. He is that good!"
