Mohamed Salah has one of the most unique career paths of any player.
The Liverpool star made his name in Europe at Basel before a failed move to Chelsea and a spell in Serie A before becoming a superstar at Liverpool.
Salah really didn’t work out at Chelsea, and, to this day, many can’t understand why.
Micah Richards has been discussing Salah and the time they spent playing together at Fiorentina, and he says that he could never understand why the Egyptian wasn’t playing for Chelsea.
In the end, Richards came to the conclusion that Salah must’ve been a bad egg, but he says he was absolutely wrong about the winger, claiming he’s one of the nicest people he’s ever met.

“He was at Fiorentina with me and I can’t believe Chelsea let him go.
"He used to get the ball in training, dribble past everyone and just pass it into the net. He did the exact same in the games, I remember before Chelsea at Basel he did exactly the same. I was thinking in my head he must be a bad egg, because there’s no way on his ability he’s not playing at Chelsea,”
