"When I was brought up, and football hasn’t changed that much, defensively we were told to never let the ball bounce. And we do that a lot.
"It doesn’t matter whether we’re at home or away, our defenders let the ball bounce a lot.
"As a striker, when you see the ball bounce - ‘Wow!’ I’d be like, ‘Happy f**king days!’
"All I had to do was get in between the centre-half and the ball. They’d maybe get sent off, I’m through on goal, and I’m at least going to get a free-kick in a dangerous position or penalty.
"The centre-halves, notoriously if they let it bounce, they’re f**ked.
"The centre-forward’s eyes light f**king up. And we do that far too often as a team. We let the ball bounce. And we shouldn’t.
"Just head the f**king ball. Just head it out. Get as much distance as you can on it, to your front men, and play the second phase out.
"We’ve got away with that a bit this season, letting the ball bounce, but we didn’t
"I loved to see it from opposing defenders as a player, but I’m sick of seeing it from Liverpool now.
"But everyone makes mistakes. Virgil made a mistake, letting the ball bounce, and Alisson made a huge mistake.
"He must have gotten bored because he had f**k all to do in the second half and he wanted to get involved.
"That’s what happens, you ask Bruce Grobbelaar. You want to try and get involved because there’s nothing to do. It’s a big mix-up and the keeper shouldn’t have come out.
"You can get away with one mistake but not the two of them at one time. And it was all made possible by a long, hopeful bouncing ball.
"You should deal with it all day long. The goalie stays on his line and you head it back to him.
"Martinelli did well. He used his pace, got his body in between, gave Virgil the shoulder barge and that’s what caused a bit of chaos.
"But, from our point of view, it’s two players making the wrong decision at the same time. And when two people make one horrendous mistake, it costs you.
