Trent Alexander-Arnold expected Arne Slot to think he was a ‘terrible defender’ but was blown away after being called into the Liverpool head coach’s office
The Reds vice-captain’s Anfield future remains uncertain, with his current contract set to expire next summer.
He continues to be heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, but his performances for his boyhood club have not been affected by the constant speculation.
Alexander-Arnold was recently part of LFC’s Christmas retail campaign, along with TV chef and Liverpool supporter Simon Rimmer
Rimmer revealed.
“I’ve been part of LFC’s Christmas retail campaign this year, and I was chatting to Trent Alexander-Arnold,”
“So I said to Trent, ‘What do you think of him (Slot)?’ And he said, ‘Right, so, second week that we’re there, he says to me in training, ‘Can I have a word with you after training, Trent?’
