Callum Wilson has expressed his concern over Liverpool's charge up the Premier League table as the battle for fourth place hots up.
Liverpool's rivals for the top four places still have the advantage of boasting a game in hand over Jurgen Klopp's side
Clearly feeling the pressure caused by recent results, Wilson has admitted the resurgence of the Reds has not gone unnoticed in the North East. Saying “Liverpool need to relax!”
Callum Wilson:
"I said I could smell [Champions League] a couple of weeks ago now that scent is gone. I don’t know where it’s gone. [Sniffs] I can’t find it!”
"That game [Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal] reiterates we've still got a bit of a way to go. We've got Leeds and Leicester to play and they're both in a relegation battle. We need three wins out of four."
Up next for Newcastle is an away trip to Leeds United on Saturday afternoon
Liverpool are not in action until Monday evening, travelling to the King Power Stadium to take on another side looking to avoid relegation: Leicester City.
