Jamie Carragher calls out Luton Town supporters for tragedy chanting during Liverpool game

Jamie Carragher has slammed the tragedy chanting of Luton Town supporters during Sunday's clash with Liverpool.

Sections of the Hatters' home support could be heard singing 'always the victim' chants at the Liverpool supporters

Carragher, who was on co-commentary for the game at Kenilworth Road, hit out at Luton supporters for the nature of their chanting and insisted they were "better than that".

"I have just heard something a couple of times in this game. Supporters have got to have rivalry but we are better than that.

"A lot of clubs have been guilty of that over the years but football fans are better than that."
