Klopp says it would take an 'extraordinary offer' for him to sanction Liverpool transfer

Updated: May 20, 2023

Klopp has insisted that he expects both Caoimhin Kelleher and Adrian to stay at Liverpool this summer.

The Republic of Ireland international has repeatedly been linked with an Anfield exit, with the 24-year-old tipped to seek first team football elsewhere.

Klopp was shocked at the suggestion that Kelleher could leave the club, insisting it would take an 'extraordinary offer' for him to even consider sanctioning such a transfer

Klopp:

"Caoimh Kelleher? What's happening with Kelleher?" Klopp asked reporters. "He has a contract. You want us to say goodbye (to Adrian) just in case?

"Honestly, I can't see Caoimh leaving. It must be an extraordinary offer for me to start thinking, I have to say.

"Adrian, if we don't say goodbye, what could that mean? That he probably stays. If nothing in the papers, then it's not decided yet, finally.

"We will not do, just in case, but I have a rather good feeling that we will keep working in that position."
