Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that star forward Mohamed Salah is not for sale despite rumoured interest from Saudi League club Al Ittihad.
The Saudi Arabian side already snapped up Fabinho from the Reds and are looking at another player before the transfer deadline.
Klopp also urged FIFA to close the gap between the European transfer window and the Saudi Arabian one.
The Saudi Pro League sides have around 20 more days to do shopping after the European transfer window closes on September 1.
Klopp:
"Yes (there isn’t any offer). It’s difficult to talk about media stories as there’s nothing to talk about from our point of view.
“Mo Salah is a Liverpool player. There’s nothing there. If there was something, the answer would be no (he’s not for sale).
“At the moment, there’s nothing. I said already if there is something, the answer would be no. Is Mo still committed? 100%!”
Klopp added:
“What makes it impossible to deal with is our transfer window closes and they stay open.
“Then we play until Jan 1, and this is our squad. We have that problem. I remember something like this in Russia a long time ago. That was not completely crazy money. It’s new and challenging.
