Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah has signed a new contract at the club, capping a week to remember for the 20-year-old defender.
Quansah was yesterday named in the England squad for the U20 World Cup later this month
This comes on the back of winning the U19 European Championship with the Three Lions last year, which saw him score a crucial semi-final goal en route
The talented centre-back represented Liverpool under-21s for much of this season before being loaned to League One Bristol Rovers during the January transfer window, where he quickly manager a first-choice option under manager Joey Barton.
Joey Barton:
"The sky's the limit for him, he can be whatever he wants," said Barton earlier this year of the youngster's ability. "Jurgen Klopp doesn't feel the way he feels about you, training with the first team, unless you're a good player."
