Liverpool could be set for a transfer windfall this summer thanks to Man City legend Vincent Kompany.
The Burnley manager is looking to sign a new goalkeeper this summer after leading the Clarets to promotion back to the Premier League.
Kompany had reportedly been interested in signing Bart Verbruggen from his former club, Anderlecht. However, the Athletic report the Dutchman is set for a £17m switch to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Burnley could switch their attentions to former Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.
The Poland international left the Reds to join FC Copenhagen in a £3m deal in the summer of 2021, with the deal including a 20% sell-on clause.
Kompany was seen personally scouting Grabara, along with Burnley goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar, as he attended Copenhagen’s clash with FC Nordsjaelland back in April.
Should Kompany step up interest in Grabara after missing out on Verbruggen, Liverpool will be set for a windfall thanks to that 20% sell-on clause
