Liverpool could repeat Harvey Elliott trick as youngster has Championship 'admirer'

Liverpool youngster Bobby Clark is attracting interest from the Championship

The market officially opens for Premier League clubs on June 14, and it looks set to be a busy summer for the Reds

Richard Hughes is reportedly eyeing up upgrades to the current options in Liverpool’s squad

Hughes is willing to trade fringe players in order to balance the books (Daily Mail).

As usual, decisions will need to be made on some of the club’s youngsters, and what their next steps should be.

The likes of Jayden Danns, James McConnell and Clark all enjoyed breakthroughs in the first team during the 2023/24 campaign, and may well be eyed up for loan moves in order to get more first-team experience

Much is likely to depend on Slot's assessment of their current levels once pre-season gets underway

It seems Liverpool may already have an option for Clark. According to DerbyshireLive, Derby County is a long-term admirer of the midfielder

Clark made 12 first-team appearances for the Reds during the most recent campaign

The 19-year-old put pen to paper on a new long-term contract back in December that will keep him at Anfield until 2028.
