“Liverpool fans won’t like this and the result today but, for the neutral, having three teams within two points is a good position for the Premier League to be in
"We want a competitive Premier League. I said at the end of the game, I feel the bell has rung for the last lap. We are not on the home straight. But we are on the last lap and every game means something now."
Neville added:
"Liverpool have been defeated here today and poor but they’ll be back.
"Liverpool will win their next two or three games and Arsenal have got to make sure they live with them.
"City and Pep, you’re not just taking on two teams, you’re taking on two managers. They have something special, which means they know how to do it.
"Mikel Arteta is trying to get into those upper echelons."
