Luis Diaz has declared he is "very happy" at Liverpool and insists he is not being distracted by transfer rumours
Diaz's future has been the subject of increasing speculation this year having emerged as a target for both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona
PSG are in the market for a left winger following the exit of Kylian Mbappe for Real Madrid,
Barcelona's financial situation means they would have to sell players before making a bid for the Colombia international.
Liverpool, who paid £50million to take Diaz from Porto in January 2022, value the winger in the region of £75m but have shown no indication yet of wanting to part with the 27-year-old
Diaz spoke after Colombia's 5-1 win away to the United States at the weekend to underline his contentment with life at Anfield.
Diaz said
“I am very happy there in Liverpool, it is a great team and club,”
“I always wanted to play there, so I am very happy and calm.
“I’m not thinking about anything else, I’m thinking about the Colombian national team, which is where we are.”
Diaz is with Colombia as they prepare for the Copa America later this month, where they will face Brazil, Paraguay and Costa Rica
Diaz added:
“We are truly happy, calm because we are reaping good things, we are building a family more than a team and that is key for what is to come, which is a very important competition.
“Always believers, we know the players and coaching staff we have, we are 100% believers and we are going to fight to give them that victory."
