Michael Owen is unsure that winning the Premier League title will be back in Liverpool's hands
Last Sunday, the Reds lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace and lost ground in the Premier League title race as a result
Klopp felt his team still had a good chance of winning the title if they managed to do their job.
Klopp:
"It’s not obviously in our hands, it is not about that. I think if we would win all our games there is a good chance we will be champions.
"Who would have thought that Arsenal lose against Aston Villa? We all sit here and think: ‘OK, yeah. [Manchester] City will win all their games’ and that’s happened quite frequently, but they have a lot of games to play and difficult opponents as well."
Owen was less convinced when asked if winning all remaining games would be enough for Liverpool
Owen
Go for them, go for them and try to win every single game,"
"Even if he [Jurgen Klopp] does that, it is not a guarantee they are going to win the league and that is the problem nowadays.
“It has been a dreadful couple of weeks for Liverpool.
"[There will have been] a lot of soul searching I am sure and it is going to be disappointing after all the promise after winning the first trophy that was on offer this season, I am sure Liverpool fans thought there would be another one, two maybe even three and that is not going to happen.
“But, if they can win all six games and give themselves a chance then that’s all they can do and what an unbelievable finish it would be to win the Premier League in Jurgen Klopp’s last season."
