Mohamed Salah drops fresh Liverpool future hint just hours after Arne Slot appointment

Mohamed Salah appears to have confirmed he will be staying at Anfield next season.

The 31-year-old's contract with the Reds expires in the summer of 2025, and this has led to speculation that Liverpool will look to cash in

Salah managed 25 goals and 14 assists this season but was criticised for his performances at the turn of the year.

During his stint at the Africa Cup of Nations, Salah suffered a hamstring injury.

Upon his permanent return to the Liverpool squad, Salah suffered a rough run of form, scoring just three goals in 11 Premier League appearances.

These performances coincided with rumours that the 31-year-old (Salah) could be departing for the Saudi Pro League at the end of the campaign

Salah now appears to have put any doubts about his future to bed as he set out his intentions for next season

Salah said

"We know that trophies are what counts and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season.

"Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell."

What happens after next season though remains firmly up in the air.

With his contract expiring in 2025, it remains to be seen whether new manager Arne Slot will look to reward Salah with a new deal.
