Mohamed Salah sends wordless message that says everything about Liverpool mood under Arne Slot

Mohamed Salah has provided supporters with a positive update as his future at Liverpool

Salah is under constant surveillance following the arrival of new head coach Arne Slot.

The Dutchman has huge shoes to fill following the departure of Jurgen Klopp at the end of last season and has already been forced to prepare decisions regarding some of his top stars, including Salah.

The Egypt international alongside defensive stars Trent Alexander-Arnold and captain Virgil Van Dijk all have their contracts expiring at the end of the 2024/25 campaign

There has been heavy interest in Salah from Saudi Arabia over the past two windows

After Al-Ittihad's eye-watering £150million bid for the forward was rejected last summer

it's believed that securing all three players on new deals is a priority for the club but it's unlikely a sale for Salah will go through this summer whether he puts pen to paper or not.

The 32-year-old played a starring role in this week's preseason opener against Real Betis, as he set up Dominic Szoboszlai for the game's only goal to give the Reds a 1-0 win to begin Slot's era

Following the clash, former Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian, who left Anfield earlier this summer to join Betis, revealed that his former teammates, including Salah, have been praising Slot's methods.

Adrian said:

"I speak almost every day with many of the squad - Kostas Tsimikas, Mo Salah. They tell me they like it, the ideology is the same as with Jurgen.

“To be intense, direct, play with pace, press high, be brave. Liverpool's squad is made for that.

“So the new coach will know how to adapt well to the players he has. And I wish him the best."

Salah will have no doubt calmed many qualms supporters may have about whether he stays or leaves as he simply shared a photo of himself giving a thumbs up to the camera while smiling as he's stood next to Wataru Endo.

It's clear that reports about Salah potentially being unhappy after the exit of long-time boss Klopp seem to have simmered down

Liverpool face title rivals Arsenal next Thursday in a preseason match ahead of a clash with Manchester United on Sunday, August 4 and then Sevilla on Sunday, August 11.
