Richard Keys believes Jurgen Klopp 'lost the plot' during Liverpool's 4-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.
Paul Tierney then showed the Liverpool boss a yellow card for his actions, but football pundit Keys was unhappy with the German manager.
Richard Keys:
Keys criticised Klopp: "Once again he's got a little bit carried away, that's what I would say. I like him, I've said that many times. He's great to listen to, he's goes out of his way to be helpful most of the time. He is box office, but there are occasions he goes beyond what is acceptable and he's done that here.
I'm not on that touchline and I'm not offering up an example to millions of youngsters. When a decision goes against you on the football pitch you walk up to the fourth official and scream in his face again and he's got form for that. He loses the plot occasionally in the dug out and I don't like to see it."
McAteer then replied: "He goes get wrapped up in a game, emotion does pour out of him, but we love him for that."
Keys responded quickly: "Liverpool fans do. The rest of us don't."
"People enjoy his enthusiasm and his passion," McAteer then said to Keys before he said: "I don't mind that, but that's an aggressive motion that's not acceptable in the game. There are no excuses for that."
Keys would later add: “Once again, he’s lost control. That is a flaw in his character and he cannot continue to do that. That kind of behaviour sparks incidents.”
