Richard Keys has claimed that Trent Alexander-Arnold's winner for Liverpool against Fulham only counted because it was scored at the Kop end.
The Reds overcame an almighty scare against Marco Silva's side
Liverpool led twice, firstly through a stupendous Alexander-Arnold free-kick which cannoned off Bernd Leno and was later awarded as an own goal.
Then through Alexis Mac Allister, who opened his account for the club with a goal of the season contender.
beIN Sport pundits Richard Keys, Andy Gray, Dwight Yorke and former Liverpool midfielder Jason McAteer felt there was a foul in the build-up to Liverpool's 4th goal
The quartet argued that Kostas Tsimikas unfairly challenged De Cordova-Reid,
McAteer
"I've got to admit, I thought there was (a foul). (Kostas) Tsimikas, the way he challenged, he didn't win the ball - he barged into the player,"
"It's a brave call to disallow that but for me that's a foul."
Yorke was adamant that the referee made the incorrect call citing: "It's a clear foul, we all agree. Look at the defender and look where the ball went. He's cleared the ball then got thumped afterwards."
Gray edged in: "It's only not a foul if Tsimikas wins the header."
Keys concluded with a bold claim that Anfield and its famous Kop end dictated the officials' decision, saying: "It's only not a foul because it's at the Kop End."
