Ryan Gravenberch names major Premier League difference as Liverpool sent Luton Town warning

Ryan Gravenberch has opened up about the physical demands of playing in the Premier League and warned his side not to underestimate Luton Town.

Gravenberch was gradually introduced into the Liverpool team but has since started three of his side’s last four games in all competitions

Gravenberch has two goals and two assists to his name in 11 appearances.

Opening up on life in the Premier League, the Netherlands international has admitted the intensity of the English top-flight is something he has never before experienced in football.

Gravenberch

“There is more intensity, and also physically [it is harder],” he told Premier League Productions. “I think the Premier League is the number one competition in the world. It’s different from where I came from.

“For me, I am enjoying playing again, being on the pitch, playing with my teammates and showing everything I can. That is good for me as a person and as a player that I can do that again.”

Gravenberch has warned his team-mates they will have to be at their best to come away with all three points.

Gravenberch added

“There are no easy games. There is not one single team that is bad, or not good. Every single game, you have to give everything.

"That’s the Premier League. I [have] seen the stadium, it’s different from normal! I’m excited to go there.”

Gravenberch’s two goals for the Reds have both come in the Europa League against Union SG and Toulouse at Anfield, and he is keen to open his account in the Premier League.

Gravenberch said:

"I need one! And I will make one for sure, I hope! I’m here now for a few weeks. It’s still early days, but I’m feeling good, everything is sorted, and everything is good.

“It’s been very good for me, to be fair. I made a good start, I’m very happy about that. And the home games with Liverpool, the atmosphere, to be honest, it’s amazing. I’m just happy.”
