Salah and De Bruyne of Liverpool and Manchester City respectively are reportedly being lined up for 2024 transfers to Saudi Arabia.
Both men remain under contract at their current clubs, with Salah’s deal at Anfield due to run until the summer of 2025. De Bruyne is working on similar terms at the Etihad Stadium
It is, however, claimed the Premier League icons are beginning to register on recruitment radars in the Middle East. According to The Mirror
Money is seemingly no object to the Saudi Pro League – with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, N’Golo Kante, Roberto Firmino, Allan Saint-Maximin, Riyad Mahrez, Karim Benzema, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marcelo Brozovic and Jordan Henderson already on board
More deals are expected, with leading coaches such as Steven Gerrard, Nuno Espirito Santo and Slaven Bilic also heading to the Middle East.
a Pro League executive has told The Mirror amid links to Salah and De Bruyne:
"This is just the beginning. The League’s budget is astronomical and there is already interest from leading international players in England to move over here. With the personal rewards on offer it’s a life changing situation which few players will be able to resist. You can bet that more top players will be arriving again next year.”
