Michail Antonio insists he doesn't want Liverpool to win the Premier League this season after being mocked by Reds supporters earlier in the campaign.
The former Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday forward has found himself at the centre of the post-match jokes at Anfield earlier this season
Antonio claimed the Hammers were going to finish above Jurgen Klopp's men this year, days before being beaten 3-1 by the Reds.
Antonio admits he still has Liverpool fans messaging him on social media and therefore, because of such taunting, would prefer Arsenal or Manchester City to win the Premier League title.
Antonio
“I don’t want Liverpool to win the league because you Liverpool fans are still in my inbox,"
"Get lost! I’m saying it with [my] chest. I don’t want Liverpool to win the league! Come for me! Arsenal get it. Man City, get it. That’s all I have to say about that!”
Not returning to action until their trip to Bournemouth next Saturday, the Reds are well-placed to challenge for a second league title under Klopp
Antonio, though, will have to wait until April to lock horns with Liverpool again, with the Reds visiting the London Stadium on April 27.
