Trent Alexander-Arnold has withdrawn from England’s squad for their September matches against Ukraine and Scotland due to injury.
The defender picked up a hamstring injury during the second-half of his side's 3-0 Premier League victory over Aston Villa
Klopp said after Villa:
"I don’t know exactly. I asked him, he said it’s [his] hamstring. Not too serious, is his opinion, but we obviously have to wait for the scans, and then we will know more."
Despite initially joining up with Gareth Southgate’s side at St. George’s Park on Monday, Trent has now taken the decision to withdraw from the squad.
Trent underwent scans on Monday and is expected to be sidelined for around two weeks, as first reported by James Pearce.
He is also a doubt for the Reds next Premier League fixture away to Wolverhampton Wanderers a week on Saturday.
