Virgil van Dijk reveals Arne Slot talks as Liverpool contract stance made 'clear'




Virgil van Dijk has pledged his future to Liverpool and says he is enthusiastic about working with new head coach Arne Slot next season


Van Dijk awaits clarity on his contract situation at Anfield.


The 32-year-old defender has just over 12 months remaining on his current deal with the Reds and earlier this month revealed that he is yet to be offered fresh terms from the club


Captain Van Dijk, who featured in 36 out of 38 Premier League games this season, has revealed that he has held positive talks with countryman Slot after he was appointed as Liverpool's new head coach


Van Dijk is confident the club can build on their third-place finish in the Premier League.
