Jamie Carragher is hoping Arne Slot will stop giving detailed tactical analysis of Liverpool's style of play after interviewing the new Reds head coach
The Dutchman has made a perfect start to the Premier League season with Liverpool, winning three matches without conceding a goal
Speaking to Sky Sports, Slot had given a fascinating tactical analysis of Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford on the pitch after the game.
while Carragher admits he's impressed by Slot's tactical acumen and the changes he's made to his side so far, he hopes that the Liverpool boss doesn't give away too many secrets to opponents.
Carragher gave his opinion on Slot's start to life at Anfield before another heated argument with Gary Neville over Manchester United's decision to keep Erik ten Hag.
Carragher
"Listening to him, he gives you something every time you speak to him from a tactical point of view.Jurgen Klopp would give you something from a emotional point of view,"
asked by Ian Wright if he wanted Slot to stop doing it, carragher said: "Well I hope he does from a Liverpool point of view.
“I think it's the Dutch way of doing things. They are on the front foot, they are quite open and if you ask a question they give you a answer, which is great for us.
"But anytime I watch Liverpool, the thing I do like is you see something slightly different in each game.
“The first game against Ipswich we spoke about the position of the full-backs, the next game against Brentford, Trent was doing slightly different, and against Man Utd it was different.
"I think on that one (exposing Man Utd), that's something he (Slot) has spotted, the position of the full-backs and they played United in pre-season and he highlighted how they were different from last season.
“So I think it's going to be interesting with Slot how much information he's going to give going forward, because from a Liverpool point of view, put a lid on it a little bit."
