Martin Keown believes Liverpool are the favourites to prevail in the Premier League title race due to a favourable run of fixtures.
Arsenal temporarily returned to the top of the table courtesy of a 2-0 win over Luton Town
Manchester City secured three points in their home clash with Aston Villa to temporarily go level on points with the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp's side regained top spot in the division on Thursday evening with a 3-1 victory over Sheffield united
Picking a winner of the three teams at the summit of the English top flight is no easy task at present, though Keown is of the view Liverpool are best-placed to go all the way

"I think the difference is they (City) could win every game, and still might not be champions. Liverpool have the points and you just look at their games, and they look better"
"All three of them have got to play Spurs. They [Liverpool] play them at home which is a big advantage. If they can win against Sheffield United tomorrow night and then they have their away game against United,
"I would be going into that game saying to the group, 'if we beat Manchester United, we have finished our season in the FA Cup, we can be Premier League champions'. I definitely do feel that,"
"When you look at their fixtures, they want payback from that match (in the FA Cup) and they can use it.
"There is lots of motivation for many reasons. I just feel Liverpool now, having those two points ahead of Arsenal, makes them firm favourites."
